The first week of August is starting out good for fishing. Trout fishing is beginning to slow some, however it is being made up for by a mixed bag of other species. On the first day of August I took Andy Peak & gang & we caught 18 trout (including a 29 3/4" trophy), 5 redfish & 2 flounder. On today's outing with Ed Lundy & his son Alex we caught 3 redfish, 4 drum, 13 trout (7 of them between 22-28 1/2") & a whiting. As for now I do not expect to see a decrease in catch rates.
